This seems to basically indicate that people suffering from rosacea should just avoid anything hot. Avoid the sun, avoid hot showers, avoid hot foods, etc. It is interesting how we have found many of the things that can prompt rosacea, but can't really find a cure for it. These things are difficult to avoid in a normal lifestyle, so it seems as though this wouldn't be something that we should worry ourselves over until the actual symptoms appear.

Rosacea, like acne, can be very emotionally debilitating. Severe outbreaks can cause teenagers to stay inside, withdraw socially and become depressed. Based on my own experience, it is important to find a medication that works and to stick with it. The initial phase of treatment can be very tough, but long term, compliance and consistency with a medication that is working is critical to physical improvement and subsequently improved emotional health.
